About Whitespace Remover

Whitespace Remover cleans up messy spacing left behind by copy-pasting from PDFs, emails, or web pages — collapsing repeated spaces into one and trimming leading/trailing whitespace from every line. It leaves line breaks and paragraph structure untouched, so it won't flatten your text into one block. Everything runs locally in your browser as you type; nothing you paste is ever sent to a server.

FAQ

Will this remove blank lines or line breaks from my text?

No. This tool only touches spaces and tabs within and around each line. Removing line breaks entirely, or removing empty lines, are handled by separate, dedicated tools so each one stays predictable and focused.

Why would I need to collapse spaces?

Text copied from PDFs, old documents, or some web pages often ends up with double or triple spaces between words from formatting artifacts. Collapsing them normalizes the spacing without changing the actual content.

Does this tool send my text anywhere?

No. All cleanup happens locally in your browser as you type. Your text is never uploaded, logged, or stored.
